Andrew Craig is a visiting Senior Research Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science where he helped set up and now researches in the Outsourcing Unit.
He is also co-founder and director of Rame Associates, an outsourcing consultancy, and is an executive coach. He has coached executives, teams and boards in the Defence Procurement Agency, UK Border Agency, leisure industry, construction industry, banking, private equity, fund management and charity sectors.
He is co-author of The Outsourcing Enterprise: From Cost Management to Collaborative Innovation (Palgrave, 2011) and South Africa's BPO Service Advantage - Becoming Strategic in the Global Marketplace (Palgrave, 2015). He has also researched and co-authored papers on Outsourcing Leadership, Innovation and Knowledge Management, Collaborating to Innovate, Building Retained Core Capabilities and Outsourcing in Difficult Times.
In his professional Army career, as a Brigadier, he commanded engineering operations worldwide, including the first Gulf War and Bosnia, and led the UK’s planned military response to nuclear, biological and chemical terrorism. He was awarded an OBE in 1992.
